David VanTassel helped the kindergarten students in Mrs. McBride's class collect seeds several months ago, and he planted the seeds and tended to their growth. Today he delivered the plants along with a wealth of knowledge for the students. Thank you Mr. VanTassel, we appreciate you so much!

Southeast of Saline is launching a capital campaign towards the renovation of the Trojan Field House. The renovations will include new bathroom facilities with expanded access as well as a new concession stand.
A community meeting will be held May 7 at 7:00 p.m. and May 8 at 8:00 p.m. in the District Office Board Room. Details of the project posted to the SES website.

Yesterday was National Principal's Day. The HS Publications class put together a video to showcase our fearless leaders. I hope you enjoy watching it. They also enjoyed a "Nacho" Average Principal Luncheon provided by their secretaries and counselors; fun minute-to-win-it games during their lunch duty provided by StuCo; and they finished the day up with a taco pinata!

The kindergarten students in Mrs. McBride's class enjoyed learning about metamorphosis! The kiddos were not just impressed with the very long word, but they were amazed at being able to watch the transformation of caterpillars into butterflies.
