FFA
The Southeast of Saline FFA Chapter started in 2001. The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change. FFA is not just for students who want to be production farmers; FFA also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more. The SES Chapter is part of the North Central District, Kansas Association and Central Region (all a part of the National FFA Organization).
FFA is an inter-curricular organization for students in agriculture education. FFA is a National Organization with over 1 Million members in all 50 states, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The organization’s focus is on developing leadership skills, exploring careers related to agriculture and providing community service. Opportunities for competition are available at local, state, and national levels. Over the last decade the chapter has participated in activities at the local, district, state and national levels.
"We know there are many opportunities in the field of agriculture - from being a leader in your community to filling the need in the talent pipeline in one of the more than 350 careers in agriculture. We believe our members are also seeing these opportunities and welcome all to the table."
