Mr. Baird’s (high school) human development class presented a great dental lesson to Mrs.McBride’s kindergarten class! The kindergarten students loved learning from the awesome, high school mentors!
Just a few of the things that make SES such a great school! The feeling of a school family and belonging to a community are so strong, and evidenced in a few of these pictures. Mr.Baird, a high school teacher, encouraged his students to present lessons to Mrs. McBride’s kindergarten students. Of course the high school students had a very attentive audience! Also, it was fun for the students to find out Mr.Baird was Mrs.McBrides high school teacher at SES! It was also super fun to find out many of the cool, high school students used to be Mrs. McBride’s Kindergarten students!

Happy Valentine’s Day from Mrs. Richardson’s 2nd graders! ❤️
The JH Scholars traveled to Abilene on Tuesday, where the seventh graders went 4-1 in pool play, and then lost to Abilene in the finals. They came home with silver medals and a 4-2 record. Eighth graders went 2-3 on the day.
On Monday the teams traveled to Tescott. Seventh graders went 3-1 in pool play but a 4 way tie and tie breaker rules did not allow them to advance to the championship round. Two 8th grade teams also competed at Tescott.
Senior honors continue with band and Sparklers. Years of dedication to SES performance.
SES honors the seniors basketball players tonight. Six league championships and three state tournaments represented. Thanks for all the memories.
