2 young men from Sr. Settle's Spanish class visited Mrs. Christiancys class today and taught us some espanol! We listened to a days of the week song and did a Kahoot to see how well we listened and learned the words!

The building leadership team (BLT) gave a presentation today at a Leadership Conference in Wichita. What an amazing team we have in our district. Great things are happening at Southeast of Saline.

She wrote her essay about the Love Chloe foundation, and they were awarded $1000 as well.

The 7th graders take home another gold with a 5-0 evening at the Lyons Scholars' Bowl meet. The 8th graders take home a silver, going 4-1, with their only loss coming in the finals.



Southeast of Saline is taking applications for an elementary teacher (3rd grade). The position has been posted at Educate Kansas. If you or someone you know are interested in teaching at SES then please encourage them to apply ASAP. We will be closing the application period this week and interviewing next week. Employment questions can be directed to the district office or the principal.

JH Scholars competed at our SES meet. The 7th graders went 7-0 to get gold. The 8th graders just missed the bronze as they finished 4-3 to tie with Beloit, but took 4th due to tie breaking rules. 8th graders had some close, exciting rounds, but we forgot a picture! Great Job!


Advanced Computer Apps students introduced themselves to Mrs. Lilley's Kindergarten class today. They will work 1 on 1 together to create their own story where they are the featured character. The HS students will present books to them later this spring!








Thanks to Kaden Stein for sharing his experience and knowledge with the Intro to Officiating class today via Google Meet. It was good to hear information from a young official in a different part of the state. #kshsaa #refreps
