Celebrating and continuing SES traditions is so important! While Music Theater students were working on the set for Grease, SES reunion classes of 1995 and 2000 came through the theater for a building tour! They were thrilled to be invited into the choir room to find their Madz, Washington DC, and musical pictures still on the walls! Some of them even remembered their folder numbers and where they sat!

JH Music Appreciation students studied the unique and non-traditional instruments used by the group, Stomp! Today they created their own Stomp groups and performed in class for each other. * 7 minutes to find something to use as an "instrument." * 20 minutes to create music together. * Each performer must have their own unique and consistent rhythm. This activity creates wonderful teamwork and great listening skills, in addition to musicality.
