JH Music Appreciation class created "Stomp Compositions" this week. Each student was assigned a group and an "instrument." The group assignment was to create a performance where each member performed a solo and the group played together. Their rhythms were to be steady and complimentary. The piece should be well organized, not sound chaotic, and should have a clean well planed ending.
They all had great performances today!

At our last Trojan Pride Assembly, Fenli won a walk with Camo. She chose Isa to join her and Officer Long. Camo loves the walks with the kids!

6th graders performed for the last time as elementary students and held their DARE graduation today. A big thanks to Officer Long for continuing to teach our students strong life skills.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Salina Area Technical College graduates. They will walk the stage at 2pm today. Earning Technical Certificates and Associates Degrees in several different fields. These students spent the last two years spending half their day at SES and half their day at SATC. Often juggling athletics, academics, friends, and family. The countless hours of work paid off though!
A great night of family, fellowship and fundraising at the annual FCCLA night. Good luck at Nationals!
