Let's get to know our school counselors for National School Counselor Appreciation Week!
Mrs. Megan Haden is the Career & Guidance Counselor at Southeast of Saline. This is her 7th year at SES and her 7th year as a school counselor. As a Career Counselor, Mrs. Haden, utilizes her experience supporting junior/senior high school students and families with course enrollment decisions, college readiness and career testing. During her free time she loves to read, do graphic design or go to Balance Nutrition. Next school year, she would love to see longer advisory time and more social events to help our students.

Mrs. Stephanie Mettlen is the Secondary Social and Emotional Counselor at Southeast of Saline. This is her first year at SES but her 4th year as a school counselor. She works really hard to help our students learn coping and social skills. She also helps advocate for student needs and enable them to be successful at school and in the future. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and baking. Next school year, Mrs. Mettlen would like to fully understand the SES community and its culture to make sure any changes that take place are thoughtful, informed and aligned with our values.

For those parents interested in being involved in music department fundraisers, please join us at our meeting this Sunday, February 2nd. We will meet in the band room and discuss how you can help out with music department fundraisers throughout the year.
