SES Latergram!
The elementary teachers enjoyed a friendly game of Hungry Hungry Hippos during the Halloween assembly last week! Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Franklin were the winners! 🦛

Honoring this years cross country teams which placed second and first at state. Coach Caselman coached teams have won nine overall championships and these girls just completed their fourth straight state title.

The Scholar's Bowl team traveled to Moundridge yesterday for a tough 24 team tournament yesterday. The team performed well the entire time and finished 10-1 with a 2nd Place finish. The only loss came in the championship against an undefeated Wichita Independent team with a score of 50-60. Great job to the following competitors for their awesome performance yesterday:
Alex Christensen
Austin Hanson
Ben Grauerholz
Logan Givens
Luke Obermeyer

Our elementary lost and found is growing! We have quite a collection of hoodies. Is your family missing anything?

JH Girls Schedule Change with Abilene

Looking for a few more travelers to join us on our Washington, DC Trip this June. Friends of the community are welcome! Contact Sean Keasling if you'd like more information.

Thanks to Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Smith for planning our school-wide assembly... thanks to those who provided snacks, drinks, games, and crafts for parties... and thanks to all of you who braved the cold to enjoy our parade today!

11th graders had their College Tour this month. They spent their morning at Kansas Wesleyan University to see what a private college looks like. We met with our admission rep and learned about what KWU has to offer and scholarships for Saline county residents. Mrs. Miller is a KWU graduate and accompanied us. She attended KWU on a music scholarship and was able to tour the US and Europe. We saw Joni Schroeder (Class of '23) and Raegan Goetz (Class of '23) while we were there.

10th graders headed to Great Plains Manufacturing after visiting KWU. GPM is like a small city! They have manufacturing jobs, human resources, sales (story-tellers), marketing, robotics, content creators, nursing, and more all on their campus. It was really interesting to hear everything that goes into running a global company. We even got to see SES alumni Jasper McDowell (Class of '22) in our presentation!
