USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Mr. Brad Settle has been selected as our staff member of the month for Southeast of Saline. Brad is the Spanish teacher and has been at SES for all 17 years of his career. His favorite thing about SES is he loves the students and how many are involved in activities. Mr. Settle has a masters of science in education from Fort Hays State University. His greatest achievement is when he gets to overhear students speaking Spanish to one another. Mr. Settle is married and has two sons, one daughter and one grandchild who is currently his favorite. His nominator stated "Mr. Settle is a great colleague. He is always there with a positive message for both his students and colleagues. It may be in Spanish, but he always has a kind word for everyone." Mr. Settle's message to students would be "don't be afraid - if you don't know, that's ok. That's why we call you students and not experts!" Great job Mr. Settle!
