USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Suttyn Douglas is our Athlete/Activity Member of the Month for April. Suttyn is a junior at SES and the daughter of Shelby Douglas. Her favorite thing about SES is the supportive community and how everyone is willing to help each other. Her nominator stated "She is a hard worker whether it is in the classroom, on the court, or working outside of being a student athlete. She does a great job of juggling it all. You never hear her complain. " Suttyn is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, NHS, SAFE and Student Council. She was also in charge of the junior class and prom decorating which she considers one of her greatest achievements. Her message to others to get involved is "Get out of your comfort zone and do hard things because it will only make you better." In the future, she plans to attend Kansas State University for business and become a realtor. Congrats Suttyn!
