USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Eli Olander has been selected as the high school student of the month for Southeast of Saline. Eli is the son of Brian and Kirsten Olander and a sophomore at SES. His favorite thing about SES is the variety of opportunities and the resources, coaches and teachers that are there to help you succeed. His greatest achievement has been his overall improvement and increased involvement in FFA and agriculture. When nominated, his nominator stated "Eli always turns in exceptional work and continues to push himself out of his comfort zone. While excelling in academics, he is also involved in other activities, such as football, FFA, NHS, Spanish Club and Scholar's Bowl." In the future, he plans to double major in agronomy and computer science to then pursue a career in precision agriculture. Great job Eli!
