His favorite thing about SES is the "great kids who work hard to be successful and the staff that care about student well-being and success." When asked about his greatest achievement, Mr. Douglas stated it was teaching for 25 years. Before he began teaching, he received his degree in education from Kansas State University. His family consists of his father (Steve) and five siblings (Timothy, Thomas, Thane, Tyson and Tristin). Mr. Douglas' message to students is to "give great effort in everything that you do. Success is earned through hard work and perseverance." His nominator said "Mr. Douglas does so much for SES. He coaches every season, is the first one at school and most days the last to leave. Our school and students are very fortunate to have someone care about them as much as Mr. Douglas cares." Congrats Mr. Douglas!
