Abigail Pearson has been selected as our Athlete of the Month at Southeast of Saline for February. Abigail is the daughter of Matthew and Juliana Pearson and a junior at SES. Her favorite thing about SES is the school community and how everyone supports all the athletics and activities. When asked about her greatest achievement Abigail states it was "playing in the Sterling Tournament Championship game twice." At SES, she is involved in Basketball, Softball, StuCo, FCCLA, TRUST, Choir and the school musical. Her nominator stated "Aba is tenacious and hardworking both on and off the court. She’s a team player and so fun to watch!" In the future, she plans to earn a four year degree while playing basketball and then becoming an air traffic controller. Abigail's advice to others looking to get involved is to "choose an activity and join in - SES has many great groups to be a part of!" Congrats Abigail.
