USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Mr. Baird has been selected at our January Staff Member of the Month at Southeast of Saline. Mr. Baird teaches social studies at SES and has been here for all forty years of his educational career. His favorite things about SES is the students, faculty and administration. He also feels like the community as been very supportive. When asked about his greatest achievement, Mr. Baird said his marriage to his wife, Susan, in 1990. Together, they have a son Spencer and his wife Laura and a sister Tammy. He received his bachelor's degree from Bethany College in 1985 and his masters degree from Kansas State University in 1993. His nominator stated that "Mr. Baird is always such a positive influence to everyone at SES. He loves what he does and his passion is very evident each day. He gives so much to SES and we are so fortunate to have him as part of our staff." Mr. Baird's message to students would be "prepare like a champion and stay locked in. Bring it everyday!" Great job Mr. Baird!
