USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Gannon Jacobson has been selected as the Athlete of the Month for December at Southeast of Saline. Gannon is a junior at SES and the son of Kent and Tish Jacobson. His favorite thing about Southeast is the sports that it has. He says there is a good winning culture here at Southeast and it is fun to be apart of that culture. His greatest athletic achievement was winning state football this year. Gannon is involved in both football and basketball at SES. His nominator stated that he "led the team to a state title in Football. His leadership and calm demeanor was essential to the team obtaining a state title. He is a role model on and off the field at SES." In the future, Gannon plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Landscape Architecture. His advice to others to get involved would be "just go put yourself out there and get out of your comfort zone. You never really know until you try." Great job Gannon!
