USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Cole Franklin is our Athlete of the Month at Southeast of Saline. Cole is a sophomore and the son of Eric and Kristen Franklin. His favorite thin about SES is the community. He loves that it is full of people willing to build you up and help you no matter what. Cole's greatest achievement so far is being a part of such great teams. He says the achievements he has personally will never compare to being able to find such an amazing group through school sports. Cole is involved in Cross Country along with Track and Field. In the future, he would like to go into some form of engineering. With that said, this year he has been involved in woodworking and is really enjoying it so that option is not off the table. His nominator stated that "Cole has really stepped up this season in Cross Country. He was continued to work hard, compete hard and was a key factor in the team placing 2nd at state." Cole's advice to others to get involved is that it's great! Cole says "It's impossible to fine bad people at SES sports. Also, the only way to get better is to just do it." Congratulations Cole!
