Kelly Currie is our November Staff Member of the Month. Mrs. Currie has taught Math at SES for the past seven years and has spent fifteen years in education. Her favorite thing about SES is the community and all the programs we have to help our students and families. She also likes how we look out for each other. Mrs. Currie says "I love our students; we have the best!" Her greatest achievement is a close tie from helping students feel successful each day to eating an entire Blue Skye pizza by herself in one sitting. She received her bachelors degree from Kansas State University and her Masters in Education from McPherson College. Mrs. Currie is married to her husband, Taylor, who is a graduate of SES in 2004. They have two children, Ames who will graduate in the class of 2034 and Timmy from the class of 2037. She also has four dogs; Wheatley, Baley, Buttercup and Farrelly. Her message to students is to be kind! It costs nothing to give a compliment or smile and say hi. Those simple gestures could change someone's day. Congratulations to Mrs. Currie!
