USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Brayden Walker has been selected as the Athlete of the Month at Southeast of Saline. He is a junior at SES and the son of Scott and Mandy Walker. His favorite thing about SES is the sports-oriented atmosphere. His greatest achievement has his last cross-country season. He won every meet except the state meet where he placed 15th. The team also won every meet except state where they placed 2nd. Aside from cross-country, Brayden is also involved in track in the spring. In the future, he plans to be competitive at the state cross-country meet this year and win the team title. His advice to someone to get involved is to stay determined and competitive. His nominator stated "Brayden has excelled inside and outside of the classroom to start the year at Southeast of Saline. It has been a pleasure to teach him and exciting to see him finish 1st at the cross country meet in Great Bend to start the season." Congrats Brayden!
