USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Addison Gottschalk has been selected as our January Athlete/Activity Member of the Month for Southeast of Saline.  Addison is a senior at SES and the daughter of Sarah Shelby and Chad Gottschalk.  Her favorite thing about SES is the opportunities given to students who want to participate in multiple clubs and activities.  When nominating Addison, a staff member said "Addison is an amazing student-athlete. She is passionate about life and it shows when she performs whether it be in dance or drama. She doesn't hesitate to help others when needed and is truly engaged with those around her."  One of her greatest achievements so far is placing 5th at the 3A State Forensics Championship.  Addison is involved in Dance where she serves as the captain, Scholars' Bowl, Band, Forensics, Theatre, NHS and Track.  In the future, she plans to attend Wichita State University to study accounting.  Her advice to others would be to "do as many activities as possible because it is always rewarding."  Congrats Addison!
