Kristen Franklin has been chosen by her peers as the Southeast of Saline Staff Member of the Month for December. Mrs. Franklin has been in education for twelve years with the last nine at SES. She loves the opportunity to be in a K-12 building at SES. She believes our younger kids get great role models and our older kids get the best cheerleaders around! When asked about her greatest achievement, Mrs. Franklin believes it is learning to do hard things when she doesn't always think she can. "It seems that there is always a new hard thing!" She received her bachelors degree from Emporia State University and her masters degree in teaching and learning from Friends University. She later received her administration endorsement from Emporia State University. Mrs. Franklin has two children that both attend SES, Sadie is a senior and Cole is a freshman. She is happily married to the luckiest guy alive, Eric for the past 20 years. Her message to students is simply "YOU are the reason I come to school each day! I'm crazy about you and forever cheering you on!" Congrats Mrs. Franklin!
