USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Josiah Monday has been selected as the Athlete of the Month for Southeast of Saline High School.  Josiah is a senior and the son of Andy and Rachel Monday.  His favorite thing about SES is that it is small enough to feel close to everyone in the school, yet big enough to provide lots of opportunities to all students.  One of his greatest achievements was being nominated as an all-state athlete last year.  He is working to try and achieve this year as well in football.  Aside from football, Josiah is involved in Track, NHS and Spanish Club.  Next year, he plans to attend Kansas State University for Pre-Med and then attend medical school after completing his undergraduate work.  Josiah's advice to others to get involved is to "try something new and once you're involved, become as committed as possible!"
