Parker Keasling is the October Student of the Month for Southeast of Saline High School. Parker is the daughter of Sean and Stephanie Keasling and a freshman at SES. Her favorite thing about SES is the staff. She says that she will cherish the memorable interactions with teachers, cooks and custodians. These are the people that have helped her get to where she is at. The staff is what makes SES a great school. Her greatest achievement so far is bringing happiness to other people. She tries to bring light to people who are in their darkest days because she remembers the people who treated her the same way. While at SES, Parker has been involved in FCCLA, Band, Jazz Band and Art Club. Her nominator said that "Parker walks into class every single day with a smile and a good attitude. No matter what we are doing that day, she gives it her all without complaint." In the future, she plans to be an astrophysicist at NASA. Hopefully, with a lot of hard work, she will be awarded a Nobel Prize. Congrats Parker!
