USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Maddie Harris has been selected as our March Athlete of the Month. Maddie a senior at Southeast of Saline High School and the daughter of Zach and Jessica Harris. Her favorite things about SES is that our school is K-12. Not only does she get to see her dad and aunt more often, but she also gets to be a leader and someone the younger kids can look up to which fuels her to always do her best. One of Maddie's greatest achievements was being selected as a Trojan Choice Award recipient by Mrs. Miller. It meant the most because it was more about character than talent or skill. Maddie is involved as the cross-country manager, basketball, softball, SAFE President, Science Club and the secretary for NHS. In the future, she plans to attend Kansas State University and major in dietetics. Her advice to others about getting involved is that "I have never gotten involved and regretted it. Just go for it and don't care what anyone else thinks." Great job Maddie!
