SWAG (Southeast Walkers Achieving Greatness) is up and running! For the next 6 weeks elementary students can choose to walk, skip, or run laps around our 1/4 mile playground loop. They scan their SWAG badge at the end of every lap to record mileage. Kids were pumped today to tell how many laps they ran! Looking forward to seeing their mileage add up this spring! Thank you Parents Club and parent volunteers for helping us get this organized!
Elementary kicked off the school wide read aloud this week! Special guest: Mrs. Keasling and her rabbits came for an interview and we read the first chapter of our book, Because of the Rabbit by Cynthia Lord. A great story of courage for all our readers!
Kinder friends hard at work writing! They are also enjoying testing out their new flexible seating choices!
National Honor Society chooses several special projects each year to volunteer in our community. This year the NHS officers chose the Salina Area Food Bank and the Love, Chloe organization. They had a lot of fun, worked hard, and did a great job representing SES in our community.
