SES had three students nominated by their teachers to receive the Salina Optimist Club's Unsung Hero Awards.  This banquet honors one student in each of the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes.  The Unsung Heros award recognizes students who have overcome a challenge or life events but have still positively influenced their school with a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to excellence.  Congratulations to Jackson Kempke (12), Emma Deatherage (10), and Clayton Shelby (11)

The 24-25 kindergarteners were able to go to music, library, and computers today. They were also able to take a bus ride around the parking lot with Miss Stephanie! We can't wait to have them with us in August.
